WHY SPONSOR?

Sponsoring a horse, pony or donkey is a beautiful opportunity for you to help us make a difference by personally caring for one of our animals for a given period of time (minimum of one month).

You as a sponsor will help cover costs directly associated with the basic upkeep of your rescue, including feed, fodder, supplements, medication, medical treatment (if required), caretaker fees, cleaner fees, monthly farrier visits, regular vet visits, dentistry, stable and paddock maintenance and other misc. costs that may be incurred.

When you choose to support an animal you help us to continue our rescue efforts by focusing on reaching out to and saving more animals, directly and/or indirectly, that need our help.

You have a number of options to choose from when sponsoring an animal.

1 month Sponsorship

Sponsor a Horse for 1 month - Rs. 14,000

Sponsor a Pony for 1 month – Rs. 12,000

Sponsor a Donkey for 1 month – Rs. 10,000

Lifetime Sponsorship

Cost per month for a Horse – Rs. 12,000

Cost per month for a Pony – Rs. 10,000

Cost per month for a Donkey – Rs. 8,000

Every Sponsorship Package includes the following:

  1. Photographic and video updates on your phone via whatsapp. This includes weight gain/loss, wound recovery (if applicable), illness recovery (if applicable) and general equine shenanigans. (OPTIONAL)

  2. A free stay at The Bison Resort subject to our terms and conditions and your sponsorship package (see below). Through this you will be able to spend time with your sponsored horse, pony or donkey and give it all the love in the world, as it rightfully deserves. You can also choose to work with Zoha and learn about basic equine care while working closely with your sponsored rescue.

 

LIFETIME PACKAGE

If you choose to sponsor a rescue for life, you will receive a 5 nights worth of free stay at The Bison Resort per year. You may choose to use these nights in the manner you prefer.

(The Bison Resort and The Backwater Sanctuary, though closely related are entirely separate entities. We will of course ensure you have your free stay at The Bison however this is applicable only on weekdays and is subject to availability).
